Pinnacle Awards & Scholarship Gala is our signature event where we celebrate our anniversary and give back to the community. The Pinnacle Awards & Scholarship Gala was created to honor outstanding professionals who embody philanthropy and students who excel. Each year we award local heroes with the pinnacle award for career achievement in selected industries: healthcare/medicine, education and culinary arts/hospitality. In keeping with our mission of promoting academic achievement, via the Pinnacle Youth Scholarship Fund, we award book scholarships to high school seniors to assist with college expenses. Students are selected from Fulton and Dekalb high schools to enter an essay contest for a chance to win the scholarship. The Pinnacle Awards & Scholarship Gala is a ticketed event with sponsorship opportunities.

Connections for a Cause Networking Mixers are social events designed to connect with our donor base and supporters.  The purpose of these events, are to bring Atlanta professionals together so they can network and make business as well as social connections while supporting a great cause in the process. Our networking mixers also serve as an opportunity for our supporters to mix and mingle with our team including the board of directors, ambassadors and volunteers. In addition, attendees get to learn about our upcoming events, programs and services. Connections for a Cause networking mixers are held at various restaurants and social spots in and around Atlanta a few times per year. The Unite for Healthy Kids 5K is a fundraising fitness event developed to inspire and empower families to exercise and get fit together. The event is normally held in the summer at local parks where families, friends and colleagues can all meet to walk or run for a great cause, the education and well-being of our children. The 5K features a 5K event that focuses on running and walking for adults as well as a children’s race for kids. The Unite for Healthy Kids 5K benefits the Pinnacle Youth Scholarship Fund, a fund development program that awards $1000 scholarships to high school students who want to major in STEM, medicine, education or culinary arts. Our program provides students with a cash stipend to pay for books or a computer for their freshman year. We believe that our young people deserve to have resources to help them succeed in college. The Unite for Healthy Kids 5K helps to fund our scholarship program so we can invest in leaders of tomorrow.
